When speaking to someone new
You just knew they were a "Christian"
And, the thought kept coming back at you
It was not anything, that the eye could see
Their manners, or what they wore
It was just that "Something Special"
From somewhere deep . . . within the core
Was it a witness of the Holy Spirit
Agreeing, in one accord
Perhaps about a story you were sharing
Maybe something about "The Lord?"
When people gather together
That try to walk. . . In the light
You feel a fluttering, like a feather
And everything, feels so right
Yes, I believe you can sense
A christian, who is part of the vine
And we know we're in the presence
Of a brother, and enlightened, with a sign!
