Gift of NatureGift of Nature Iridescent raindrops glisten on leaves Birds fly high in majestic trees In the distance calls a rippling brook As all around blows a gentle breeze A sunbeam illuminates a spider web Fragrance of soft petals fills the air Soft white clouds drift across the pale blue sky Such beauty is everywhere How often do we stop and look? To enjoy the glory of earth? So blind are we to worldly cares We miss these gifts of ours from birth Open your eyes and look again Past your worries and your troubles See the world in its natural beauty Fill joy as your peace is doubled! © Trizia 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
