Floral perfume fills my senses
I long for your clinging arms
But alas I sit alone lost in dreams
Of times past while a falling moon shines
Its pale light shone on my window
Filling my heart with sorrow
The loneliness of a beaten man
Lost in a world no one else can find
Oh to have those clinging arms again
To draw me back before the end
I long for your clinging arms
Those clinging arms of love
But alas I sit alone lost in dreams
Of time past while a falling moon shines
Oh fallen moon where are you now
What a joy it would be to be alive
But like I am now I can not survive
Through tangled webs of future dreams
I search for a release
One to ease my mind and heart
Before it expanses from its seams
Following a dim and elusive light
Time after time lost from sight
I fight a hopeless war
With a lost and misunderstood mind
So full of the worlds forgotten lure
A captive of my minds own sorrow
Looking for a true prophet
Who can lead me to my tomorrow
Seeking a coalition with my inter being
Only circumvent my self from seeing
Seeking the merriment of a full life
The progressive pull of another world
Draws me further away
Oh clinging arms and fallen moon
Stop me from slipping away
Than through your eyes
I can gaze into your heart
Within your heart I see my moon
It rises in a brilliant light
Never to fall again
In your clinging arms I find peace
The unbearable war is over
My mind set at ease
For darling in your clinging arms
I found all I will ever need
Never to be lost again
