You were an excellent wife and a devoted
mother. I regret having not done more of
the little things that you did so adore,
like taking you out to dinner or shopping
for plants at the store.
Memories of your laughter and the smile
upon your face, although you’re
gone, still seems to liven up the place.
The children miss you as do I but I have
explained to them that every created being
must one day die.
Death is one of life’s various stages.
This is an inevitable truth found in
Qur’anic pages.
In the gardens of Paradise the righteous
will once again be together, after informing
them of this, we all felt much better.
Although you are gone I’m still your lover.
You were an excellent
wife and a devoted mother.
