Daughter Of The King

Photobucket

I am a Princess,
Daughter of The King.
My Heavenly Father
Reigns o'er everything.
Photobucket
Crowned with salvation,
Commissioned by His Ring.
Granted power of attorney,
I'm the daughter of The King.
Photobucket
I was a Cinderella,
So dirty and un-kept.
No one sensed my loneliness
Or saw the tears I wept.
Photobucket
Then one night I cried,"Father,
I'm falling all apart.
Please pick me up and mend me,"
And He moved into my heart.
Photobucket
Now I am a Princess,
Daughter of The King.
A subject of His Kingdom,
An heir to everything.
Photobucket
No longer in the outer court
Longing to go in.
I've entered The Throne Room.
I'm the daughter of The King.

 Be Blessed,
(C)Doris Jacobs-Covington

"The Spirit Himself bears witness
with our spirit that we are children
of God.
And if children, then "heirs--heirs
of God and joint heirs with Christ.."
Romans 8:16-17 NKJV
