 This Gift
Amazing grace, today given
As yesterday, fell short of living
The life GOD spared in you he loves
The last thing on your mind thought of

Wrapped it's not, no fancy ribbon
No bright red bow yet still forgiven
Are you the child who has the chance
To change the tune of life you dance

Crucified by hands he held
Yes yours today one step from Hell
This gift you snub and push away
Given today, lost yesterday

No special card taped to it's side
Yet speared on cross, He still confides
In us He made who need this gift
The gift Hell's bent on man it sifts

This gift is not one we can mail
Or ship FEDEX to us who fail
To see the good that GOD will bring
Into a soul short of blessings

This gift is free, unlike we are
Who question GOD who made the stars
Who knows the answer but fails to test
Waters Holy, only God's best

Dial 1-800 DEAR-GOD for your free gift today!
