Wayward Child

I've  been thinking of heaven
I know it's a  beautiful land.
Where some day I will be walking
with Jesus hand and hand.
I've  been  thinking about my Savior
 how great is His love.
for me he built a Manson up above
A father never gives up
on his wayward child
He is our begaining he is our end
our blessed Savior our friend.
He is the great I Am
and His glory never fades.
He took my life and made it new
from the devil I was saved.
A father never gives up
on his wayward child
I've been thinking about my lord
and what He did for me.
I try to count my blessings
He gives me every day.
He died on the cross and
from sin he set me free.
I try to keep my eyes on Him
because He is the way
A father never gives up
on his wayward child
I've  been thinking of the times
 when I needed someone strong.
I never  thought about my Jesus
who was there for me along.
He took my hand dried my tears
and took away my sorrow and fears.
He said he would never leave me
 He would always be near.
A father never gives up
on his wayward child
He was the saving Grace I needed
to make every thing  just right.
He took  me out of darkness
and keeps me in His sight.
My father never give up
on me his wayward  child.
