You're So Good To Me Jesus
I was feeling the after effects
Of a life that went wrong.
The world did a number on me
Until You came along.
You settled the storm in my soul
With Your soft, healing touch.
When mem'ries tried to cripple my mind
Lord, Your Word was my crutch.
You're so good.....
You're good to me, Jesus.
The bad times are over-
You've given me a new start.
You're so good.....
Lord, you've made me a winner.
The only thing I'm losing
Is my heart.
I was almost afraid to believe
You were all that You seemed.
I was ready to write You off
As just a myth or a dream.
But, Jesus, You proved Yourself real
In Your sweet, gentle way.
Whenever a doubt crossed my mind
Your Spirit chased it away.
You're so good....
You're good to me, Jesus.
The bad times are over-
You've given me a new start.
You're so good....
Lord, You've made me a winner.
The only thing I'm losing
Is my heart.
