Eire Love You

I once loved an Irish girl
Her sweet, soft Irish Accent was like a nightingale
Her black hair and snow white skin
Is where my love begins
I had always been single you see
But always wanted to love someone compassionately
She broke my heart time and time again
She didn't love me but other men
Deep down I thought I knew
That she loved me too
But my heart was broken it would never mend
I don't think I could ever be just her friend
But like a love solider I tried
And like a solider I died
I will love again I know I will
But my heart still beats stranger still
I will not speak her name
She has caused me too much pain
She left and went across the sea
Taking with her a part of me
