Albie

Across Europe into the old soviet
Where the flag no longer is blood red claret
I found myself in Moscow
It was a hot summer, no sign of snow
I was tired and sleepy
When I first met Albie
I spent only a day with her
But I felt my heart strings steer
She was my guide
But my feelings I could not hide
We walked and talked around red square
I felt we had so much too share
And as we walked around this city
I looked at this girl so pretty
Sad that I was leaving the next day
I simply could not stay
I was sure that I had met the one
That special someone
I thought she might like me as well
So I took her E-mail
I still write to her my love, Albie
A true and beautiful memory
