reflection

I look back now on it all with complete embarrassment
I was holding, clutching to dream, whilst in quicksand
It seemed like eternity till I was given attachment
To be dealt a better hand
Love is foolish it makes and turns us into fools
Blind rage takes over a rejected soul
I was cross, mad, I did things I wouldn't normally do
But yet I did!
I paid close attention
To the most important question
But I only found the answer
Looking back on reflection
