 The Unfairness Of Angels

dreamweavertheunfairnessofangels
my lovers pond

The shadowy reflection of the silver moon
The echo of natures sounds
Surrounded by a stillness called midnight
Cloudless skies show a way out into space
A million different shades of black
A twilight breeze touches my side
As I bend down to drink from my lovers pond

A pond made up of my shameless tears
Even the frogs look at me with pity
The fish try with open mouths to give me advice
The swan so elegant bows his head, as to know my grief
And the twilight breeze calls her name
As I look at the mans reflection in my lovers pond

His kind face tells me not to cry
I see the man in the moon, he understands
His beaming smile says that there will be another
But I look hard to try and see her reflection
I am reminded of her rejection
I look deep into the clear but dark waters
And add to the tears of my lover's pond
