In the Moment

This poem is both imaginative and allegorical.

I can feel the world spin around,
I see the sun rise up and go down
Time gives us space to give us liberty
But can we control our own civility?
  I can feel the energy up above;
The whole world keeps talking about love
  but if love is our real choice
We wouldn't have a problem hearing her voice
I can see the vapors on the misty sea
Like the gentle winds they offered to carry me
I can sense the taste of the air
 Yesterday was bitter
      but today is fair
