Unfazed,
The sea swell gathered pace
It crept from the distance
On a voyage of froth
And by the time it had reached the shore
It was maddened and sought revenge
Limp seaweed
Was tossed angrily
On to smoothed pebbles
The colour of the sun
As it slips towards the horizon
And hides from view
Mottled
Is the sky
As dusk prevails, and
In a few hours
The sea will gather all its muster
And crawl stealthily back
From whence it came
