I   FEEL   LIKE   A   PUDDING

My sweet tooth is screaming
For a good filling bowl
Full of bright yellow custard
And a gigantic slice of jam roll

Roly poly pudding is my favourite
Along with meringues of fresh fruit
Warmed in the oven
Covered with fresh cream to boot

Crumbles I can't refuse
As apricots hide underneath
Chocolate syrup desserts
With cherries in a wreath

Oh, I feel like a pudding
With empty bowls to my side
A stumble from the table
Rather than an elegant glide
