Bombay beggar

No arms, no legs
In tortured tone he asks bread
Living in a continues circle of humidity chaos and pain
He lives his life over, and over again
A child, a man, woman? Sexless and ageless
But his suffering is endless
Pulling him self to meet your gaze
Eyes darting around in a bloodless rage
On stumps of his fathers desire
An abortive attempt form his mother liar
And as two different cultures collide
The Bombay beggar has nowhere to hide
As the rain falls from his twisted torso
And his arms stretch out so crippled and slow
The empty sockets stare out of his head
As in foreign language he asks for bread.
