the nothing man

No! Is there anybody out there?
I feel so alone in my prison of despair
Blackness stains my walls
Left with broken promises
Instead of broken windows
The sun does not shine here
The shadows are my own
Perspiration is my rain
The words in my head make insane
Yet the words in my head are my only friends
But even they question why?
I tell them that I was born with nothing
And will die with nothing
I am the nothing man!
I have no sight to see your smile
I have no ears to hear your encouragement
I have no voice to thank you
I have no family to support me
I don't know my age, as I have no concept of numbers
Only the thing that dangles between my legs makes me male
But it still nice to meet you
I am the nothing man.

the nothing man
