Hello Lord, it's me. . . Here I am again
Seems, I'm always asking for things
Out here by the waters, I will listen
For the answer, I hope You will bring
Oh, you may not answer, right away
But, I feel closer to you, as I talk
Watching the waves ripple to shore
Splashing gently then, upon each rock
A quiet peace I feel, as I sit here
Appreciating the beauty, in my sight
A creation you planned, with such care
With Your power and Your might . . .
Seeing that I am "Seed Of Abraham"
You love and guide me, day after day
My Good Shepherd, and "God's Lamb"
Master and Savior . . . There, when I pray
As I linger, my thoughts grow clearer
My worries, I give over to you . . .
Your presence, like a breeze, feels nearer
Lends confidence, You'll know what to do
Yes, I am waiting for you, to bless me
With your answer to my prayer . . .
For as many miles out the Ocean, I see
Is the trust I have, that you'll hear.
