 Flannel

You're the flannel in my sink
You lay there alone, no time to think
You're used for cleaning me
And wiping spillages of tea
You often think you're life's a waste
But you listen too much to that depressing toothpaste
I once heard you tried to run away from home
And stayed with that pedo, shaving foam
When you were younger you used to smoke dope
With that hippy soap
Back in the early 90's you went to a rave
With that clean cut womanizer aftershave
I know you have done a few wrongs
Especially with that rogue Colin Condoms
I heard that when times were hard you gave him a gnosh
But that was just a rumour from that gossip mouthwash
you are a flannel
But your name is Samuel
But you can't tell us that
Because your a flannel!

Whilst i was at Uni (94-97), and being a hard up student, i worked behind the bar (well to be honest more drunk behind it and in front of it) i also did a bit of DJ'ing..i also did some stand up comedy too. Infact i did the stand up gigs for almost 3 years. Part of my routine was to read some funny poetry..This is one of them...aye fun days..
