 Fragrance

Within its purple glass
I feel now so upper class
For what sits now beside my home phone
This burning wick assembled on stone
The flame burns, as does the fragrance
Like a summer slice of pure radiance
The roaming scent of Mediterranean fig
Relaxes me as I listen to Danzig
Now I hear you say, “ what Danzig? Isn't that metal?”
“What amazing fragrance can do that? That's incredible!”
I didn't read that in the instruction manual?
Ok, so not Danzig, maybe Supertramp?
With my amazing, 4 ounce bottles of sophias lamp!
And while inhaling it's beautiful smell
I can drift of into my very own fairytale
About how the battle was really won
With a fragrance lamp! The chosen one!
It brought down a poetry uprising
But do I get any credit for free advertising?
No!
