SPRING BLESSINGS
As your garden is planted,
May your veggies not freeze,
And all Springtime windstorms
Be merely warm, gentle breeze.
May the nightly rains push
Grass only to one inch high,
While automatically causing
All weeds to wither and die.
May bright songbirds gather
To dine on pesky yard bugs,
While you enjoy life drinking
From cool ceramic coffee mugs.
As you rest from your labors
With good book and deep sigh,
May you say with deep feeling,
"I'm a very darned lucky guy!"
