 You Can

You can regret things you've done,
Always question 'why?,'
Or you can make new things happen,
Before life passes by.

You can waste time on hate,
Hold enemies within,
Or you can let go of them,
And let new friends come in.

You can take things for granted,
Thinking they'll always be there,
But life can be cruel,
It can be so unfair.

So live for today,
Let go of the past,
It's behind you for a reason,
Make the future a blast.

For you never know,
What the future holds,
It might be warm and cosy,
Or it could be hard and cold.

Life's what you make it,
What you put in you get back,
Live for today,
Let go of your past.
