 Threads of lilac
Shades of early dawn,
So soft, so soothing,
A haze of lilac,
Mist barely moving.
A sensuous moment,
Inner stillness, peace,
Sweet tranquility,
Creation's kiss expressed.
Butterflies hover
O're sweet garden bed,
The sent intoxicates,
My spirit is fed.

Youthful flowing lines,
Lilac threads woven,
Yellow roses danced
As she was moving.
Such simplicity,
Grace epitomised,
She drew me close with
Beckoning hazel eyes;
Our finger tips touched,
Our hearts engaged,
Morning mist of love,
Shrouded our embrace.
Lilac threads woven,
My favorite became,
Oh my sweet Margie,
I whispered your name.
