Life to me sometimes seems to be
An abstract painted our own way~
The amount of imagination and care it shows
When the abstract of our life goes on display~
Every soul that views the same
Sees something different every single time~
Depending where we sit to stare
We see our version ever so divine~
Each of us a different point of view
An open mind the important commodity~
And as we look into the abstract of life
We see all the good and it's diversity~
Every action a different brush stroke
How the abstract of life does so reveal~
Of the care we added there
And how within we really feel~
The abstract of life it hangs on view
For all others to freely see~
Just how deeply we painted each day
With the brush of sincerity~
And as life goes by and the abstract dries
It changes all of the time~
It's character thus becomes so clear
This one attempt we painted life divine~
The amount of care as we brush each stroke
Shows the integrity of the artist so~
The lack of care if maybe it is there
Will in the viewing be sure to show~
We cannot go back to revive it at all
For once painted it last always~
And from within it deep how our souls do creep
Of how we've lived our days~
The finished painting hangs for all to see
Remembering our painting hangs there as well~
And our very days on the canvas of life
Will in the gallery always tell~
