As a poet I know i shouldn't
I know words can be tricky
Its the way you talk to me
Its not who you are
Its not what you do
It is who you are inside
You can be yourself with me
I like you the way you are
I don't give a damn as long as i like you
I don't give a damn about your bad reputation
If you have one at all
Coz people can think what they like
Coz i don't care what they think
They can laugh and talk
I don't give a damn
I aint about to make them
Make me feel small
Or ashamed for something
I shouldn't
Be ashamed of
If i like you
Or love you
I don't care
