Praise God the Father of our Lord,
That we have loved honored and adored;
He has been good raising from the dead,
Our Savior as we heard and read.
He gives us a new life and new hope,
That lives on and helping us to cope;
And with the promises that it brings,
Something better waiting in the wings.
God has something stored up in Heaven,
That we inherit to be given;
It will not be ruined or decay,
Never becomes corrupted or stray.
God has mighty power to protect,
If your faith is strong not to neglect;
Until the last day as He has planned,
For Christ to take you to the new land.
On that very day you shall be glad,
But in the meantime sometime be sad;
For your faith like gold tested in fire,
To be showing your true desire.
