God Is The Answer To Today's News
Today's news was written
Thousands of years ago.
It is called prophecy
But contains good news, also.
For whatever the problem
Or the state of affairs,
There is Somebody watching.
There is Someone who cares.
There will be terror by day
And firey arrows by night.
But the Household of God
Will stand in power and might!
We'll stand strong in the Spirit
And on the strength of His Word.
Declare Him as Master--
Make sure His message is heard.
His enemies will scatter
At the sound of our voice.
They will try not to listen
But He'll give them no choice.
For the words we will speak
Will be as loud as the thunder,
Until evil's rebuked
And sin's put asunder.
So, children of God,
Lift your banners up high!
The battle may rage but
The Deliverer draws nigh!
Today's news may get worse
As tomorrow unfolds.
But be not afraid...
God's in charge of our souls.
