This earths slate has been wiped before
Before we ever arrived here it's so~
The experts such as they are today
Have the proof and this they know~
That souls and life forms lived here
Before the man on earth of now~
Earth has gone through many facial changes
Way before our knowing this time and how~
Proofs exists of way before mans first documentary
And of many things we still have not a clue~
Of beings that once lived upon this earth
Before we this time got here it is true~
Some say we come from apes or the likes
Others say we came from fish~
And often when I look around sometimes today
All I can say is .. I wish~
But way before our now and knowing
Before books written upon this earth~
Before our planet went through many changes
Life lived here and to them with worth~
I like any have not really got a clue
But several left overs from them still do exist~
Of civilizations that lived here way before
And this very earth they loved and kissed~
History does repeat it's self
This we do know only to well~
And yet we feel we have all the answers
But these proofs still upon earth won't tell~
Way before we ever got here from where ever
And way after the day once more man leaves again~
These truths will still remain as silent as ever
And next inhabitants of earth will try to explain~
Not a lot different than ourselves have tried
With all we feel this time we know~
Earth has had many years I feel as a classroom
And each time all the students eventually they go~
Nature is the head master of this earth
And it will I feel always have last say~
Regardless of all we feel we can control
It matters not at all upon the day~
We are taught to live and love only
One day at a time~
Giving each day and each other our honest best
To all things concerned here so fine~
Many choose different things here to worship
And put so much stock in same~
But if all knew their history well
It's all been done again and again~
We all should be living best as can as one
Being as we all could well be~
But short sightedness and other things
Has many not watching earths destiny~
The signs are in the climate changes
And in many things it's true~
It's all telling us of tomorrow
And there's little we can do~
We all arrived with nothing at all
And we all shall leave as we came~
Nature has control and last say
And we have no body we can blame~
But one thing we all can do
Is be as we only know too well~
To be as loving and as giving and understanding
As our entire time upon earth does tell~
