INCREDIBLE JOURNEYWritten at 16 years old When i felt afraid and confused So i decided to be a better person for my Lord because i was a good person But i still felt something was wrong My incredible journey to Self discovery is in this poem xxx With every number I can count for ever With every letter i can write forever With all the foods i may eat forever With all the drinks i may drink forever I will only breathe until the day God says i won't So before that time comes I will make sure i obey all my duties to Him Being the best person i can ever be But the best at being a good person Not one who takes it all for granted I will not yield hatred, greed or jealousy I will be happy for What He did give me Excited so i see what is in store Thank Him for what i do get We all should do the same Its not so hard With strong faith and Belief We will love Him too much I know all i have is Him My Lord who created me from a Clot of blood He gave me a life and parents, family, a home and friends He made me who i am I am who He made me to be I am what He wants me to be Except Perfect Its up to me To be the best person i can be God left this in our hands, but we do not have to do it alone We always have Him to help us We should never forget this I hope i never go Astray i can keep praying i don't So i can worship my Lord until my life is over Nothing is over until He decides it is The knowledge is only with my Lord So i got a mission and its all about my life I need to hold on tight Mistakes who doesn't make them I'm still getting it right and i won't let my Lord down At least i hope i don't So i can live right and go to Heaven Which is an eternal luxury of a paradise May we be there already, but first we're on a mission and its all about to begin Our fantastic Journey to becoming better people May God guide us Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
