The Colored Cross

 Photobucket
I did not know your name
I had never seen your face
I knew nothing about you
Before coming to this place
Photobucket
But our hands met and held
As we agreed in prayer
Because the Cross of Calvary
Allows no strangers there
Photobucket
Your skin was a different color
You were of a different race
Yet I knew...I recognized
That glow upon your face
Photobucket
I knew that He lived in you
Just as He lived in me
And Blood is the only color
Seen at the Cross of Calvary
Photobucket
Our way of life may differ
You have your culture...I have mine
Yet what we have in common
Will even outlast time
Photobucket
When we've flown through sky and space
To reach our home above
We'll look back at the Colored Cross
For it was there we learned to love

God Is Love And This Love Colored The Cross RED

"Therefore, as we have oportunity,
let us do good to all, especially
to those who are of the household
of faith." Galatians 6:10
