 ramblings and things

How I wish I could sing more than two notes in tune
As I holler away like a demented loon
Any captive audience listens in horror and in awe
And I never get asked to perform any encores
In my mind I'm a Willie, Hank or even George Jones
But the truth is I just issue forth screeches and moans
I wish just for once to sing true for all of my worth
About the joys of my life on our beautiful Earth
But I wail like a banshee and scream like a loon
And never ever manage more than two notes in tune
