 Special Delivery (Handle with care)
I met a kind lady the other day,
that said she was giving a kidney away.
No greater gift can one give,
than part of yourself so another can live.
She said it's been over a year in preparation,
for all the matching and the delicate operation.
I hope everything for her and her friend turns out great,
and her donation adds many years to her friend's fate.
I don't know the name of the lady I met,
but she had a gleam in her eyes I won't forget.
She was so proud that she was helping another,
may GOD bless you both with strength to recover.
May you both walk soon together hand in hand,
with a human bond until you leave this land.
May you live a long time and tell your tale,
to people like me when they check their mail.

This was written for a lady that works at my post office
in Newman Illinois that's giving a kidney to male friend
that's a barber in Villa Grove Illinois.
It will be featured In the Newman Independent News paper
next Thursday 27 March 2008
