Lonely Road/Crowded Dreams
Leaving again so soon....
wish I could take you
see the wonders
taste the dream
it's not just lines
but a thousand scenes
Take another picture
but it doesn't replace being there
take another pill
but it doesn't remove the pain
it's all I suppose
part of the separation stain
In between nothing and everything
it's a weird calm
when the mind wonders
to all your wrongs
but know I love you baby
despite what is present
so leaving again....
getting ready for the Vegas room
the temptations are falling all around me
it's getting harder to stay clean
Wish I could take you....
take you away with me
no more red tape, no more court dates
remembering how it used to be....
