 The Perfect Day
I went to work and got promoted
Then out with girlfriend, she's so devoted
Hand in hand at the wildlife gallery
She turns and smiles and gently kisses me
Dinner in South Kensington, eating Thai
That naughty sparkle in our eye
Catch the train to Kentish town, arm in arm
Watching my favourite band at the Forum
I feel so happy when I'm beside her
One hand on her butt and the other with my cider
She turns round and says, she loves her fella
Then a special guest arrives on stage, it's Paul Weller!
I realize now how lucky I am
As Weller plays ‘Eton Rifles' by The Jam
Then we get the night bus home past Londons sights
My hand gently rubbing against her tights
End up back at mine with a bottle of Becks
Staying up all night with great, great sex!
It was the perfect day and it all is true
But it wouldn't have been perfect without you!
