Impossible Entry
It is quite impossible.
Science loudly proclaims.
Their words despicable
Eye witnesses explain.
No child of woman is fatherless,
Though some fathers are of little worth,
It is quite impossible
That an untouched maid could ever give birth!
We were there, knew this man,
Talked to his mum many times,
His life on earth just an interlude,
A reality within God's time line.
It is quite impossible,
The medicos all agree,
Impossible for an embalmed man,
To walk again, tall and free.
The witnesses again protest,
The resurrection is not just a song
But a celebration of evidence and fact,
500 witnesses to prove you wrong.
The Son of God's earthly life,
Sits between two impossibilities,
He forgives sins, gives eternal life,
Gives those who trust eternal certainties.
