I Want To Do What Jesus Did

Photobucket
I want to do what Jesus did
When Jesus walked this earth.
I want to tell the world about
Salvation and new birth.

I want to lay my hands on man
And watch his health returned.
I want to share God's love with all-
I want to be concerned.

I want to learn how to forgive
Like He's forgiven me.
I want to point the way up to
The hill of Calvary.

I want to tell someone about
The coming of The King.
I want to worship God in truth-
I want to shout and sing.

Singing glory, glory. halleluiah-
Now, don't the love of Jesus turn you on?
Singing glory, glory, halleluiah-
Now, don't it make you want to sing along?

I want to help my neighbor up
When he falls with a load.
I want to walk that second mile
With someone down the road.

I want to give my coat away
To someone who is cold.
I want to shine The Son upon
The feeble and the old.

I want to walk on the water-
I want to calm the sea.
I want to use the gift of faith
My Savior's given me.

I want to let somebody know
How much their soul is worth.
I want to do what Jesus did
When Jesus walked this earth.

Singing glory, glory, halleluiah-
Now, don't the love of Jesus turn you on?
Singing glory, glory, hallleuiah-
Now, don't it make you want to sing along?

 Glory, Glory, Halleleuiah,
(c)Doris Jacobs-Covington

"So Jesus said to them, "Because of
your unbelief,
for ,assuredly, I say unto you, "if
you have faith as mustard seed, you
will say to this mountain,"Move from
here to there," and it will move and
nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20
