Nice To Nasty, And Back Again!

Why did it happen, will I ever know?
And what am I supposed to think?
When a friend turns from nice to nasty,
Just like that, in a blink!

Why did he do it, turn so harsh?
Tell me, what did I do?
And why did he become so annoyed?
For the pain he put me through!

Was it because he felt pushed aside?
When that really wasn't so,
Why oh why did he push 'me' aside?
Why did he have to go?

How can a person so nice as he...
Turn out so nasty and sly...?
Why on earth did he do it?
Because I just can't understand why?

If you read this poem…!
We had a friendship good and true,
Why did you throw it away?
We were closer than close, me and you!

Many a battle we fought and won,
Always at each others side,
I want you to know, you hurt me so,
I was so saddened I cried and cried...

What went wrong, I don't understand?
Will we get that friendship back again?
I think not, you threw it away with ease,
Such a tragic shame.

But if there is the slightest chance!
I'm only an e-mail away,
Mail me my friend, and I promise you,
I'll get back to you right away!
