Fearing RapeWritten at 13 years old Fictional, but based on a true story She's sleeping rough Running away from not her parents Her abuser out to get her She didn't wanna be touched in the personals down below The ones above were enough His evil words and invasions were enough She couldn't sleep or eat in peace Her tummy hurting her constantly From his evil eye So she packed her bags and ran out She ran outside the Don valley Stadium in a quite spot Not near any hysterically screaming girls or over excited boys Whomever they loved She slept in the quite spot Rough and in pain and frozen to death Starving to death She got somebody to go into the mosque to get her food without them knowing who she was Coz they knew her and would tell her to go back Mommy crying without her knowing Everything was so confusing as she writes her poems She is out of her mind So dark and she hates it So she goes on home Hoping Mommy would understand She didn't at first, but then they worked it all out and explained How she feared she'd be raped Mommy still with him, but he never touched her daughter again The daughter didn't see what mama said behind the closed door And she didn't care so she walked to her room Closed it and went to sleep on her beautiful softy, feathery and warm jelly bed Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
