You can't fight the moonlight
When you need to be held tight,
You want things to seem right
All through a lonely night..

Let the moon shine on you
Then it will shine on me too,
Shine on oh moon, shine on high
Shine on our love so it can fly..

Shine your magic beams all around
Until thoughts of love are found,
Let your glow burn our hearts on fire
Out of darkness into fiery desire..

You can't fight moonlight
When you are being held tight,
Secured within lover's charms
Finding ecstasy in loving arms..
