I Believe I'm Beautiful

I Believe I'm Beautiful
Photobucket
A Fashion or a Beauty Queen
Are not terms to describe me.
For I'm pretty in the places
Where mortal eyes can never see.
Photobucket
I am fashioned in His Image-
That is where my beauty lies.
Yes, I believe I'm beautiful-
Very beautiful in His Eyes.
Photobucket
My hair may not be full and fluffed
But it is crowned with His Grace.
My eyes may not be big and bold
But they are turned upon His Face.
Photobucket
I don't project a picture perfect
That would summon long drawn sighs.
But I believe I'm beautiful-
Very beautiful in His Eyes.
Photobucket
So, when you look upon my face
There might be things you cannot see.
Like the beauty of His Spirit
Who dwells inside of me.
Photobucket
Like the warm wonder of His Words
Where true beauty still abides.
Yes, I believe I'm beautiful-
Very beautiful in His Eyes.
Photobucket
This blind world's view of beauty
Is marred, distorted, for the most.
Because it's overlooked the loveliness
Of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Photobucket
I am only what He says I am
But His Words have spread the skies.
So I believe I'm beautiful-
Very beautiful in His Eyes.

Everything Is Beautiful In Its Own Way,

Psalms 139:14
I will praise thee;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
