For You Richie…And Bett!Whispers On The Wind… Like the whispers on the winds of time, People come and go… A mixture of feelings and emotions, That only we can know! Back in the good old days of childhood, My mate Rich…and me… Were banded together, bonded forever, And as close as close could be! But time took its toll on all of us, And sadly we drifted apart… But never, in all that time, Did that lad ever leave my heart! And now many, many moons later, We have contact once again! And this time it's forever! For to lose each other now would be a shame! So back to my childhood years I wander, Treading the sands of time, And all my happy thoughts come back to me, Thoughts both loving and so fine! We were a pair of imps you know, Me and Rich, the cousin that I love, And to have him back in my life again! Well, I've been blessed from up above! Happy thoughts come flooding back to me, The winter sun, and lots of snow, Holidays, Easter and Christmas, And the tears shed when it was to home you'd go! And though all these years have passed us by, That makes no matter to me, Now me and Rich and Bett, have the years ahead, To stay as close and close can be! You've always been my favourite cousin Rich, And you have always been in my heart, And now that I have found you again! Be assured, we will never part! Love You Richie!! Love you Bett!!
