 The House Of Special Purpose

Will we ever know,
What happened,
So long ago,
In the cellar,
Below,
The House of Special Purpose?

Did anyone really survive,
The bullets and the bayonet thrusts,
Saved by the jewels sewn inside,
Their clothing?

When the bodies was thrown into the truck,
Did anyone have the luck,
To be rescued,
Still alive?

Dragged from a dirty canal,
Could it be true,
That she was,
Somehow,
A survivor?

We'll probably never know,
The truth,
For certain,
Of what happened,
So long ago,
In the cellar,
Below,
The House of Special Purpose.
