The Struggle Within…!
When the road that we must travel,
Seems to long and rough,
Your head is throbbing, your heart is sore,
Cause life it just so tough.
When the day seems endless,
As problems loom ahead,
Your body is so weary,
As you face another day in dread!
When nothings going right,
But going wrong instead,
You want to give it all up,
But along that road you tread.
When all you want is peace,
But all you get is strife,
Everything's too much effort,
And your heart twists like a knife.
When everyone around you is angry,
Full of tales of woe,
They moan at you again and again,
But you stay when you want to go.
When the world is crumbling around you,
And people look to you top be strong,
When all you want is to give in,
It's just for peace that you long.
When everyone around you is pushing,
Backing you against a wall,
When everything's getting you down,
And there's no one to hear your call.
When you've come to the end,
And you feel there is no more,
You pick yourself up, start anew,
Just by opening another door!
So when everything seems so hard,
And you're weary in body and mind,
Ask for help, from Him above,
For the peace you want is what you'll find.
