How long since you shared His story
Reflecting His light, the hope of glory
Demonstrating His unconditional love
Coming down from the Father above
How long since you praised His name
Casting away your doubts and shame
Lifting up your voice in joyful song
Knowing He has carried you along
How long from God will you stray
Striving endlessly to find your way
Feeling miserable deep down inside
Realizing you need Him by your side
How long will it take before you see
Believing in Him is the way to be free
Everlasting life He offers, giving hope
Resulting in peace and ability to cope
