The Love from GodBy chance if I could speak, In tongues of man and beast; Of a love that's unique, For west in meeting east. A love patient and kind, Showing others you care; And that eases your mind, While willing to share. A love that's not stingy, Having selfish motives; But an apology, And a love that forgives. A love that's built on trust, A love that never fails; But one not filled with lust, Having perverse details. A love not of this earth, Rather flows from Heaven; And that gives me rebirth, Since I am forgiven. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2008 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
