Hanging in suspense beyond a ravine of burgeoning black
The wind gently nudging me from side to side
Wolves stare and howl, as though under attack
My dreams pull me forward, in slumber I still ride
The demons follow stealthily by silent foot
Watching over me with a sneering glare
What happened to my sensibility, where was it put
Are these screaming nightmares really fair
Gallant soldier upon unsaddled black stead
Rides the open breeze to my aid
He, with a soul that traces back to my plea
Chivalrous captor who rules by the mighty blade
With heart thumping loudly in cavernous ribs of bone
Clutching silken cape as Saturn appears
You, once harbouring a heart of stone
Have quenched the fires of demons, lost are my fears
