I've Surrendered to be one
with my cherished Lord,
so intricately woven we are
now of one accord.
Together forevermore
new heights we will fly,
soaring through life's endeavors
just Jesus and I.
Losing myself in the veracity
of who He is,
enfolded secure in the knowledge
that I am His.
Loved beyond recognition
from sin I am set free,
No longer mesmerized
by the demands
I've placed on me.
Contented to be guided
by His tender care,
my reward is
His enduring presence everywhere.
My needs to be successful
have all now vanished,
my own will to God's
has completely
been relinquished.
