Poetry For Everyday People

Bill Maher

Bill,
not all,
party
theories
that impress
hookers
and
wired
out drunks
are profound,

for an instinctual,
selective,
with a somewhat opinion
superiority complex,
guy I like.

tonight you reminded me
of Dennis Miller
doing Monday Night Football,

eight teenagers
beating up one girl,
for hours, locked up
in a room, watching her
pass out,
then beatin'her up
some more,
isn't,
a normal beating,

they all need
some jail time.

Eight against one
isn't a fight,
it's cowards in action.

Bill,
you spend enough time
making fun of true idiots
some with actual power,
and I am usually with you,

but apparently
as clouds form between martinis,
and your brain became
an olive,

Rodney King on tape:
we agree, OJ: we agree,

but what the F
are you talking about here?

this was, is wrong
on all levels.
