Bunny's Reply
Happy birthday my 6 year old,
And wow, the questions you ask!
You have such an inquiring mind,
Wanting to know of things past.
You are right about the dinosaur,
Yes, I did ride one to school,
And if you can spare a minute,
You'll find out they are real cool.
A dinosaur as you well know,
Is very very very long,
But as he loved children so,
He sang this song as we rode to school
I wear two bells ding-a-ling-a-ling,
I wear two bells, the only words I sing.
One is right on the tip of my nose,
No silly, not upon my toes.
The other as you may see,
Right on the very tail tip of me.
I wear two bells ding-a-ling-a-ling,
I wear two bells, the only words I sing.
So, if by chance you see me,
Or hear my song and bells,
Don't take fright, do not flee,
Scramble up a very tall tree.
I wear two bells ding-a-ling-a-ling,
I wear two bells, the only words I sing.
My silly feet do not do,
All the things I ask them to.
They will not run like yours will,
And my claws scratch something awful.
I wear two bells ding-a-ling-a-ling,
I wear two bells, the only words I sing.
As I waddle down the street,
The bells ring and ding together,
Kids drop down for a ride to school,
But only in sunny weather.
