 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

What tales we speak
when reaching for a way
to cover our dread of being found
lacking in some human virtue!

Fear rises unbidden
and unfounded,
since we are all
frail, weak creatures
who need each other
but mostly,

He knew from the beginning.

Once released from
bonds of impossible
it grows easier
to be kind to oneself
and others.

We are not perfect-
so be it.
